⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Spoilers ahead**. This is Hope’s 4th series & boy did she bring things to the next level! The way she makes you fall for Harry even though he’s your typical scumbag is really nice to see. Also, just like she did with her previous series (Drawn To The Billionaire), the secondary characters bring a lot to the story. Without giving any spoilers, we advise you to get ready to be touched by her nephew & niece…Ok, I just want to say this: imagine your cousin is your best friend & she has two BEAUTIFUL children. One day, she decides to go to Bali for a well-deserved vacation (without the kids) but she never makes it back…I mean what the %$*!!! What do you do? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spencer, Spencer, Spencer…what can we say about him? So much to say, so little time! Well first of all, just look at the box set cover above…we don’t need to say more regarding his looks right? Now imagine Spencer comes to your workplace every few days UN-INVITED! Not only that, he’s watching you work. Not only that, but he shows up as a client & you have to serve him right? I know, i know…what a sexy setup. Well yes and no because what i didn’t mention is that you (I’m assuming you are the heroine in this story) have a shady past, you have pissed off the wrong people & there is a VERY GOOD chance that Spencer is to get YOU, not in a sexy way…but more in a “sent to kill you way”. You have secrets you’d like to keep buried. If they surface, your new life will crumble, it’s that simple. I know what you’re saying….”tell me more about Spencer!”.
Spencer Reid is a self-made (billionaire of course!) man who’s easily bored. As the CEO of his security firm, he still likes to get his hands dirty in the field. He lives his life on his terms, and he doesn’t intend to change his lifestyle anytime soon. Again, the reason why we loved reading this box set is because of Hope’s capacity to lure us into the story & to touch our hearts. She does a very good job in incorporating banter, teasing and humour to lighten up your heart when things get tense in the story (trust me, they will). There’s also this really cute character, a family member (his name is Daniel but i won’t say more) trying to act all adult & it’s adorable. So definitely this story has it all: suspense, insta lust, steam, banter, family matters and as always….. a HEA! Highly recommended read 👌

⭐⭐⭐⭐ We promised to be honest in our reviews so we will be! This is a very good read despite the fact that it lacks something her other series have. We found that this compilation of 2 box sets (her Insta Love series & her Second Chance) lacked one main ingredient by Hope’s standards: banter & family member side characters that bring something to the story more than just their presence. Of course, no story can be created without supporting characters & this box set definitely has that. It’s just that they don’t add to the story in terms of depth & variety. They don’t make the story a five-star story. It’s all in the details . The BIG BIG advantage of this box set though is the price & the value. 0.99$ for over 395 pages of fun! Also, these two series were Hope’s first ones so may be she was just getting warmed up 🙂
So here’s a bit more about the 2 stories in this box set. You can then decide to purchase it or not.
Story #1: Melanie has just finished high school but because of their huge debts, she can’t afford to go to university. She has to stay home looking after her disabled mother and keeping her sister out of trouble while their eviction looms. One night at her first job in a nightclub, the night before her family are to be evicted, she finds her sister has tried to sneak in with fake ID and meets the owner Jason. She’s fiercely loyal to her family and doesn’t like handouts.
Jason – Jason’s mother died of cancer when he was a teen and Melanie’s father was her doctor, taking care of affairs when Jason’s own father wasn’t able to cope. His life fell apart when his own father committed suicide a few months later and his money was used to wipe out all the debts, leaving Jason with nothing. He ended up couch-surfing at sixteen until one of the teachers his mother worked with took him in. Jason goes to university on a scholarship and works hard, paying back everything by the time he’s twenty-five. His employees get chances they couldn’t get before, but Jason won’t suffer fools and is very strict.
Story #2:
For the second part of this box set, we decided to give you a bonus! The background story & some juicy details about the main characters 🙂

We still recommend this box set because the quality is still great (even though we gave it 4 stars). This box set is a great way to start discovering Hope Paris & the price is low that you simply cannot coming out losing in this:-)
